London-based artist Neev has been steadily carving out her place in the UK’s indie-folk scene, known for her intricate storytelling and evocative vocals. Neev released her debut album, Katherine, in 2023, a collection of intricate indie-folk songs that pack a lyrical punch that recieved four stars from the Daily Express. Tracks from the record were played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Scotland. This year, made a return with How Things Tie in Knots in March 2025. A record shaped by tension, contrast, and self- discovery, it delves into the struggle of embracing multiple identities and the complexities of human relationships. At its core, How Things Tie in Knots thrives on duality—between heritage and individuality, tradition and progression, restraint and release. Tracks from the album have been played by the likes of John Kennedy (Radio X), Sian Eleri (Selector Radio) Robert Elms (BBC Radio London) and Angela Griffin (BBC Radio 2).
